At Gibsons Groundspread we offer Gippsland farmers a quality custom-designed soil testing program that is purpose-built for Gippsland soils and seasons. The results are formatted in a concise and easy to understand way and will be delivered to you within 3 weeks completely tailored to your farm’s soil requirements.

How do we perform our testing?

Depending on the property and field size, we take approximately 10 core samples per paddock with a 100m length in between. We take about 250-500g of soil for each samples at a depth of 10cm for an accurate measure. All or individual paddocks can be tested, based on your requirements. All samples are sent to an independent lap, which provides an in-depth nutrient analysis. Our professional agronomist analyse the results and formulate a custom report including a strategic recommendation to increase your soil’s health and performance. We also provide the choice to order heavy metals analysis and can organise a tissue test for corn and vegetable growers.
